About Headway Plymouth

Improving life after brain injury for adults and their families across Plymouth and the surrounding areas.

Our Mission

Headway Plymouth is dedicated to promoting understanding of all aspects of brain injury and providing information, support, and services to survivors, their families, and carers.

Every year, around 350,000 people in the UK are admitted to hospital with a head injury. Many more sustain brain injuries through stroke, tumour, infection, or other causes. The effects can be devastating and life-changing for the individual and everyone around them.

We believe that with the right support, people can rebuild their lives after brain injury. Our services help survivors regain independence, reconnect with their community, and find hope for the future.
